STORY IS CONNECTION…
I’ve been writing stories for as long as I’ve been able to string together letters, creating images from our soup of language. Now, I write because I believe story is connection. It’s a vehicle that moves us towards understanding, of ourselves and each other. Roger Ebert said of films that they are empathy machines. I believe that holds true for the best of our stories, as well.
